ICCPE Strategic Plan 2002-2005

The ICCPE Strategic Plan 2002-2005 is the first formal articulation of the Centre's organisational strategy. Formulated by a four-member strategic planning committee, the Plan addresses policy, participation and quality matters pertaining to continuing pharmaceutical education in Ireland.

The Strategic Plan was developed following a research process which involved questionnaires, presentations to pharmacists and the collation of statistical data. Based on this research, the Centre focused on the following five key areas for 2002-2005:

- Supporting the development and implementation of pharmaceutical care.
- Providing lifelong educational opportunities for the pharmacist.
- Achieving equity and accessibility of service delivery.
- Encouraging and maximising participation in continuing education.
- Improving integrated professional practice.
