ICCPE Tutor Group Presents Poster at NPPG Conference

The Tutor Group responsible for the development of ICCPE's Roadshow on Medicines for Children presented a poster based on the roadshow at the NPPG Annual Conference in Belfast in October.

The title of the poster is Medicines for Children - A National Training Strategy for Community Pharmacists in Ireland. It documents the background to the Roadshow, training materials used, delivery of the Roadshow to over 700 pharmacists and feedback from the course. Keys conclusion from this feedback are that the Roadshow has effected considerable improvements in practice and that it has triggered an interest in developing a more specialist knowledge of paediatric pharmacy in community practice.
